Minutes 7/3/2022 Business Meeting

Terry Z opened the meeting with the Serenity Prayer and reading of the 6th Tradition.

The agenda included just one topic: security measures surrounding the use of the Zoom chat function.

Several people described their experiences with people abusing the chat privilege.

Fred moved we disable the chat function between 7:30am and 8:30am at every meeting, and that the chairperson's script be changed to explain to attendees that only chats to the hosts and co-hosts are allowed during meetings and that requests and offers for phone numbers, etc., should be routed through them.  There was discussion.  Ashley called the question, Herb seconded the motion to vote, and the motion passed fourteen to four.  

Mary moved that further discussion on Zoom security be put on the agenda for the next business.  Sylvia seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

Mary moved the meeting be adjourned.  Sylvia seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.  

Terry adjourned the meeting at 9:25.
