I.  GSR/Chairperson Terry Z. opened the meeting at 8:30am and led the group in The Serenity Prayer and the reading of the 10th Tradition:  “Alcoholics Anonymous has no opinion on outside issues; hence the A.A. name ought never be drawn into public controversy.”

II. Secretary’s Report.  Herb S. asked if there were any corrections to the September minutes.  There being no corrections, Herb asked for a motion to accept the minutes of the last meeting as submitted. Fred  moved the minutes be accepted. Mary seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

III. Treasurer’s Report. No report.

IV. GSR Report. Terry reported that he attended the October 20, District 4 meeting.  The main business was the voting to redistrict District 4 into eight separate districts effective January 1, 2023.  Branford will join East Haven, Northford and North Branford to become District 19. Donna A. will be the new DCM of District 19 and is already starting to organize meetings and officer candidates.  There will be a need for many volunteers for the new district and Terry asked those present to think about how they might want to serve.

Terry also reminded the group that his term as GSR is up December 31 and the group should start thinking about a replacement. 

Herb moved that the GSR report be accepted as submitted.  Fred seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

V. Coins & Books Report. Keri reported the coins are being mailed regularly.  She would like her telephone number to be made available to the group so anniversarians can text her their anniversary information.  Mary moved that Keri's number be posted in the Chat every meeting for that purpose.  Herb Seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.  

VI. Service Chair Report. Jeff reported that all commitments are being fulfilled and things are running smoothly.  Mary moved the report be accepted as submitted.  Herb seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

VII. Grapevine Report.  Mary reported that she sent several Grapevines to Miss Sarah and she will soon send more.  Nothing else to report.

VIII.  Old business.  No Old business.

IX.   New Business.  Taylor moved that the Traditions meeting be moved from the Friday Living Sober meeting to the Thursday Step meeting.  After some discussion, Herb moved that the matter be tabled until the next business meeting and that the topic be announced at meetings over the next month so people will know they can attend the business meeting and weigh in if they have an opinion on the matter.  Ron seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.

X.  Herb moved that the meeting be adjourned.  Jeff seconded the motion and it passed unanimously.  Terry adjourned the meeting at 9:15am.
