Early Morning Zoomer’s Business Meeting,
November 2, 2025
Dan called the Meeting to order at 8:32
Lisa U, opened the meeting with the serenity prayer.
The GSR report:
Grapevine report: both were pushed to next month as Darlene was absent.
Secretary’s Report: Lisa reported the minutes from October‘s meeting have been posted on our website for all to access. Dan A. pointed out a couple of typos. Lisa will make corrections.
Books and coins: Mary sent out a 25 year coin to Terri, and a five-year coin to Tina. No books were sent out this month.
Service Chair Report: Michael A. reports three new chairs and three new hosts have been established and are reflected on the website. Dan A made appreciation for service chair report ahead of business meeting, he noted getting it ahead of time was a first! Mary expressed some concerns about new host learning to log onto Zoom. Discussion ensued, and the issue was resolved.
Website report: Herb was absent, website report was postponed till next month.
Treasurers report: Deb B. sent report ahead of time. She has made all payments voted on at last months business meeting, and recorded all donations from various income streams. The treasurers report will be posted on our website. Michael A. commented about keeping a low balance above our prudent reserve. Dan A. clarified we will be making quarterly payments from now on to do just that.
Terri makes a motion to accept the committee reports, Michael A seconds. The motion passes unanimously.
New business:
Dan A made a comment of concern about our approved motion last month to make all donations, go through the treasurer. He thought this could have a deterrent effect on people making donations in the future.
Kevin D suggested we consider length of commitments for chair people from 12 weeks to one month. Dan A let us know we will discuss at next month business meeting.
Lisa U. made a motion to adjourn, John D seconded. The motion passed unanimously.
