Early Morning Zoomers Business Meeting     July 5, 2026

Dan A called the Meeting to order at 8:31.

Darlene opened the meeting with the serenity prayer.

Secretaries report: Lisa U. shared June minutes have been posted on our website for all to review. There were no comments or questions.

Dan A. made a motion to accept the minutes Herb seconded all were in favor past unanimously.

Treasurers report:

Dan A gave the treasurer’s report for Deb B. Dan made a motion to accept, Lisa U seconded. All were in favor.

Website report: Herb welcomed any feedback about the website and welcomed any questions or contributions.

Dan A made a motion to accept the website report, Sal second it passed unanimously.

Books and Coins: there were no requests for books or coins this month. (Mary informally gave her report before the meeting as she was without power and wanted to conserve her battery. )

Grapevine report: Darlene delivered five copies to BH care in Branford.

GSR report: Darlene has shared location of the minutes and the Flyers she receives at the GSR meeting and is making announcements periodically about upcoming events. Siobhan will be our alternate GSR and Dan A will be our alternate GSR during the winter months. Darlene has announced conventions coming in September.

Dan A made a motion to accept John D. seconded. They passed unanimously.

Service Chair report: Dan A. reporting for Michael A. There are two new chairs and one new host elected, Siobhan volunteered to be the alternate GSR, who can’t cover during winter months, Dan A. Volunteered to be an alternate during the winter months when Siobhan is away.

Dan A. made a motion to accept the service chair report Sal seconded. It passed unanimously.

Old business: our alternate GSR position has been filled. Mary did a compilation of the motions past since the beginning of the early morning zoomer’s meeting, much appreciation expressed for Mary’s work!

New business: August 2nd is the annual picnic at Jacob speech from 10 to 4. John B. Is on the picnic committee and will help to coordinate our two groups.

Dan A made a motion to adjourn John D. seconded all were in favor meeting adjourned at 8:45 AM.
