EMZ Business Meeting Minutes November 24, 2024 

Paul started the meeting with the Serenity Prayer and read Tradition 11: “Our public relations policy is based on attraction rather than promotion; we need always maintain personal anonymity at the level of press, radio, and films.”

Old Business: None

New Business:  Paul’s commitment as GSR is up at the end of December. The nomination for new GSR will be sought over this coming month. The role description of GSR will be posted on our website. We will have the election at next month’s Business Meeting.

Secretary report: The minutes for the October meeting are posted on our website. The report was accepted without objection.

Treasurer’s Report:  Linda reported on deposits and debits since last month 2024. Balance waa $375.00, with prudent reserve of $300.00, leaving $75.00 as available balance. See attached Treasurer’s report for details.  

GSR report: Paul reported that last week’s meeting theme was “service”. He has prepared a summary list of all needed service opportunities within the District and it will be posted on our website.

Books & Coins Report:  John P reports that there were anniversaries this month but no requests for coins. People may be getting their coins at in-person meetings. No books sent out.

Grapevine Report: Darlene was not present. No report.

Service Chair Report: Ron reports all positions are filled and operating smoothly.

Next Business Meeting will be Sunday, Dec 22, 8:30am.
